Amarasimha, the valiant king of Ratnapuri, falls in love with a beautiful girl, Ratnaprabha, during a hunting expedition and poses as an ordinary soldier. Their eventual royal alliance fills Ratnaprabha with immense joy. However, the wicked chief minister Sarpaketu, who lusts after her, orchestrates a vile conspiracy to cast doubts on her chastity in the king’s mind. The story majestically chronicles Ratnaprabha’s trials and tribulations to prove her purity, overcome the political treachery, and reunite with her beloved king in this grand, swashbuckling folklore adventure.
