Set in the lap of nature, the film follows an innocent tribal hunter named Arjuna who develops an immense, unblemished devotion towards Lord Shiva. Worshipping the deity in his own rustic way, transcending all traditional rituals, his pure adoration wins the heart of the Lord. In a supreme act of sacrifice, when he sees the Shiva Lingam bleeding from the eyes, he plucks out his own eyes to offer them to the Lord, immortalizing himself as ‘Kannappa’. The director beautifully captures this moving tale of devotion and salvation.
