ధనిక కుటుంబానికి చెందిన గుండమ్మ, గయ్యాళిగా తన ఆధిపత్యాన్ని ప్రదర్శిస్తూ, సవతి కూతురు లక్ష్మిని కష్టపెడుతూ, సొంత కూతురు సరోజను గారాబంగా పెంచుతుంది. వారి గర్వాంధకారాన్ని తొలగించి, సంసార బాధ్యతలను నేర్పే ఉద్దేశ్యంతో రామభద్రయ్య అనే జమీందారు తన కుమారులను మారువేషాల్లో ఆ ఇంటికి పంపిస్తాడు. అంజిగా ఎన్.టి.ఆర్, రాజాగా ఏ.ఎన్.ఆర్ ప్రవేశించి, ఆ యువతులను వివాహమాడి, గుండమ్మ గర్వమణచి, ఆత్మీయతను పెంపొందించే తీరు అత్యంత రమణీయంగా సాగుతుంది.
Gundamma, a wealthy and arrogant woman, mistreats her stepdaughter Lakshmi while pampering her own daughter Saroja. To cure their arrogance and teach them family values, a Zamindar named Ramabhadraiah sends his two sons in disguise. NTR as Anji and ANR as Raja enter the household, marry the daughters, and orchestrate a beautiful transformation, taming Gundamma’s pride and fostering genuine affection.
