Innocent rural lovers Kondayya and Seetalu work in a touring theatre, finding joy in mimicking film stars. Enticed by cinematic dreams, they move to the city where Seetalu eventually becomes a celebrated actress. As fame and greedy relatives intrude, Kondayya feels alienated and returns to his roots. The story beautifully captures how true love transcends the superficial allure of stardom.
