During the churning of the cosmic ocean, Lord Vishnu assumes the form of Mohini to protect the divine nectar from the demons. Lord Shiva becomes infatuated with her beauty. To dispel Shiva’s ego that he is beyond all worldly desires, Vishnu incarnates as the great sage Maya Machhindra. In a divine play, Shiva reincarnates as Gorakhnath and becomes his disciple. The film beautifully captures their spiritual journey, philosophical trials, and the ultimate triumph of devotion over ego.
